VR33 was discovered and unearthed during the chaos following the anarchy of the "joining". No records exist to determine which "world" it belonged to.
In order to secure the freedom and establishment of Frestia, VR33 was enhanced with assassination protocols, to serve as the forming nation's silent dagger as part of "Raven Unit", a similar group of unearthed warforge. It was to realise later that the unit's name was also representative of a deity whom they served. The unit was equipped with the best equipment resources could provide, and that was when Final Rapture came into his possession.
Final Rapture was the product of fusion technology with an Artificial Intelligence, bound within a cybernetic circuitry embedded in a Gauntlet. Paired with superior weaponry, VR33 and its unit were highly effective in their assigned tasks.
However, with the coming of peace and the peace keepers, governments were fast to discredit their "tools of war" and VR33 faced similar prospects. Shipped with a group of his unit out of Frestia, with the prospect of a permanent "decommisioning" exercise, VR33 and the remaining members of his unit escaped by killing all their captors when their attention was being diverted. Fugitives from law and without a nation to support or sponsor them, many members of VR33's unit were hunted down and slain. VR33 and Shadowblade, another surviving member, managed to track down the officer in charge of the hunt and slew him. The duo destroyed all physical evidence of the hunt and engineered their own "deaths".
Shadowblade, using his skills at espionage, headed off for Cabus, while VR33 decided on Qualibu instead. As a warforge, changing his appearance was simple using canibalised parts and creative engineering.
This was 100 years ago.
Believing most of the High Command of Frestia to have lived out their lifespan, VR33 decided to look for Shadowblade, to determine if it too has managed to evade capture all these years. To do that, it needed a viable cover story and E.P.I.N. was hiring...
