TBC, but she's a mysterious waif from Qualibu.
Though unsure of her early years, Elone has known herself to be a student of magic of Qualibu's Thaumaturgist Academy since her first memory, living in the dorms and rarely setting foot outside. Though knowledgeable, Elone was inept and magic, and instead devoted herself to the study and history of magic.
Because the scripts of ancient and foreign tomes were written in their home tongue, many mages were unable to read the more exotic of scripts. Elone however, unburdened by magical practices, spent most of her youth teaching herself and reading these languages, and began learning these magical texts herself. Not even Mikipedia could match up to her knowledge in such areas.
Unbeknown to Elone, such vast knowledge had a great impact on her magical capability, as if a spark had ignited within her, setting off her arcane power. So many magic words and runes etched into someone's mind had such an effect. It was then the academy mages taught her practical applications of magic, but even before training, Elone has read and memorised all the lessons written within the academy's textbooks, and it was all a matter of manifesting what she had learnt.
As a graduating assignment in her final year at the academy, Elone constructed and wrote a magic tome of her own devising as a testament to her own arcane brilliance. The tome is a collection of past research of the nature of magic, and Elone's own thesis on the flow of arcane. It is embedded with spells on every written page, conferring to the reader instant understanding of the tome's contents, even if they didn't know what the hell the squiggly lines meant. Most importantly, however, was that the tome was almost blank on the second half of its pages. It, according to Elone, was to symbolize the ever continuing quest of all mages to master the infinite capabilities of the arcane, just as Elone would continue to fill and complete the pages of her Tome. This tome was called Elgamore.
After graduating, Elone had to find employment. Employment came in the form of the PMC E.P.I.N, who were more impressed in her linguistic skills, which landed her in an office job rather than a mercenary position. Despite the circumstances, Elone was still pleased she could put her skills to good use.
She had been working for quite a while as a translator and a member of foreign relations, but one day, the sudden heart attack of a new recruit from Section 8 prompted the HR department to find a quick replacement. A lucky dip in old application letters fished out Elone, who was already under E.P.I.N employment...
Appearance :
Elone is shorter than most other people in E.P.I.N, notably shorter than a dwarf, a 2 year old, and the person she is replacing. She has straight, long, auburn hair, which she ties loosely in small tails to either side of her head. She has a pair of blue eyes, complimented by her fair face, though her expression is usually serious or passive, negating her attractive features.
Elone dresses appropriately for the occasion. At work, she wears a proper business dress, but with extra embroidery and a crest to signify her as a certified wizard. Outside of work, she prefers to dress fully clothed in a dark dress, a long-sleeved shirt matching her dress's color under a white vest. Elone tries not to draw attention to herself, so her choice of accessories range from scarce to non-existent. Having learnt she may be sent away from the city, Elone found the only appropriate set of clothes she had was her mage robes from the academy, which was thick enough to endure most weather if worn in full, but lighter than standard combat armor. The robes were made to withstand a small degree of damage already, since practices in offensive spells at the academy usually left regular clothes tattered. (There's your spidersilk cloth armour)

Demeanor:
Elone grew up secluded within the walls of the Academy, often made fun of for not being able to cast magic. This prompted her to have a reserved and often passive attitude to most social interaction, as talking to others often made her the butt end of their jokes.
During her studies, Elone had grown fond of the world outside of the arcane, picking up hobbies like astronomy and especially divination through tarot cards. As such, wherever she goes, Elone would take with her a pack of tarot cards, often shuffling them idly or picking one up to hide her lips behind. She had been linked to superstitious and occult rings, and almost as if the idea intrigued her, she did join a modern occult club, however briefly.
As she was employed, however, Elone had developed more confidence in speaking with people. Respect followed naturally with her talents, making her an authority in her area of expertise, giving her words a much needed edge to credibility. Still, when off the job, Elone would still hold a tarot card up to her mouth if she didn't want to talk, and more often than not, she was content to sit idly by as others handled matters themselves, working only when needed.
When a person cannot comprehend Elone, she would simply write her sentence into her tome Elgamore, and with its enchantments the person would comprehend Elone's words empathetically. She only does this when she's frustrated though, as she doesn't want to tear out pages from Elgamore.
When speaking of academic matters, however, Elone would immediately spring up in interest. No subject of historical importance was too small a conversation for her, and Elone is always happy to share her knowledge on such matters.
